Choral music of the highest quality in Carroll County, Maryland. www.masterworksofcc.org We accept members of all voice ranges.

Masterworks Chorale of Carroll County is a non-profit, adult, volunteer community chorus founded by Dr. David Kreider in 1977 as the Choral Arts Society. Masterworks Chorale performs a variety of masterpieces from Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary periods by legendary composers including: Mozart, Bach, Praetorius, Handel, Beethoven, Haydn, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Bernstein, and Rutter. We have premiered works by Garth Baxter, Justine Koontz, Rebecca Oswald, and Lorraine Whittlesey. Throughout our history we have formed strong partnerships with other arts organizations and have performed with:
• McDaniel College Choir
• Children’s Chorus of Carroll County
• Glorystar Children’s Chorus
• Maryland State Boychoir
• Baltimore Symphony Orchestra
• Westminster Symphony
• Columbia Orchestra
• Frederick Regional Youth Orchestra
• Washington Cornett and Sackbutt Ensemble
• Society for Early Music
We have participated in international choral festivals in Newfoundland (2005) and Cincinnati, Ohio (2012). Masterworks Chorale is dedicated to providing opportunities to hear music of the highest quality and to participate in making that music. Our singers, mostly amateur, perform on a volunteer basis.
