The artist lineup for the 6th Annual Westlake-Bay Village Rotary Art Festival on Saturday, July 25th, just keeps getting better! Today, we are shining a spotlight on three master creators who elevate functional items into gorgeous home showpieces.

Every tip helps Connecting for Kids provide resources, support and community for local families raising children with disabilities, mental health concerns and other challenges.

Three generations of Service Above Self! 🌟

When we say service is a family tradition for Jeff, we truly mean it. In the 1990s, Jeff's late father, Paul Appel, was a highly respected member of the Corning, NY Rotary Club. Today, the legacy has come full circle. Not only is Jeff taking the helm as our President, but his own son, Paul, has carried the torch into the next generation as a member of the neighboring North Coast Rotary Club!

Jeff joined us in January 2017 and has been a cornerstone of our hands-on service. While we only recently started tracking volunteer hours, Jeff's impact is visible everywhere, from leading our Epiphany project for years to helping make our annual Art Fest a success.

Now happily retired from his career as a Sales Manager at Hyland Software, Jeff (supported by his wonderful wife, Lynda) is ready to dedicate his full energy to an incredible presidential year ahead.

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to President Jeff Appel! We know the Appel family's Rotary legacy is in wonderful hands. 🥂⚙️

This is exactly why we do what we do. 💛🌐

Every year, our favorite tradition is awarding scholarships to outstanding seniors at our local high schools. Today, we experienced that joy firsthand as we presented a check to Mukesh Mannava from Westlake High School.

Mukesh stood before our club today and shared his vision for the future. He is headed to UCLA next year to major in Biology, with his sights set firmly on medical school. Hearing his passion and dedication reminds us all of the power of community support.

By supporting Rotary through sponsorships and membership, you directly fund the futures of incredible students like Mukesh.
