Susan L. Canole Foundation The Susan L. The Susan. L Canole Foundation was established to support and partner with philanthropic causes near and dear to Susan’s heart.

Canole Foundation provides children with opportunities to experience the joy, healing, and growth that come from meaningful connections with horses through accessible equine activities. The foundations primary focus is the intersection of children, animals, and faith. The SLCF will create opportunities for children, including those that are sick, grieving and/or underprivileged to experience the s

ame joy, excitement, and mental benefits that Susan did from horses. SLCF will do this by giving children access to equestrian activities and animal therapy. Since the creation of SLCF we have been able to sponsor trail rides, introduce kids to horses, and spread the word of our mission. We have also partnered with and received the support of many wonderful patrons. We hope you consider joining our mission and help us continue to Trot Toward Hope.

Buffalo Soldiers🦬

SLCF team members Erika and Mia had the pleasure of joining a Camp Casey Horsey House Call with the Buffalo Soldiers Heritage Association!

The Buffalo Soldiers is a small but mighty group of African American men that work to carve out a piece of history for this generation and provide a safe space for their local community.

Located in the heart of downtown Detroit, these men provide care for their herd and work closely with Camp Casey to give back to children!

The Buffalo Solders are open every single day and it’s free to visit!

The Susan L Canole Foundation is proud to support this amazing organization and be involved with their mission!💗
