GUS!!!!

This sweet, very handsome boy cant wait to meet you! Gus is a (young!)6-7 year old that had a rough start in life and is making up for lost time in spades.
Gus enjoys hanging out outside, squeaky toys or his "babies" as we like to call them, and his very favorite thing-lounging on the couch with his people! He is a big lover and prefers to be close by his people at all times.
Gus might be a larger dog, but don't tell him that as he has no idea! He has all the grace of a freshly born fawn, and the coordination of one as well. He can be a bit of a scaredy cat at times, and will let you know if something bothers him by crying to you.
Gus is other dog friendly and his foster home has multiple other dogs of varying sizes. He has been around children of all sizes and greatly enjoys them. He does prefer the women in the house, but he is happy with both men and women.
Gus was from an animal hoarding situation in Cleveland and is still getting all of his bearings but has quickly adjusted to being an indoor pet. He was missing some teeth and had others removed that were causing him issues. He is left with one of his canines and his molars but you wouldnt know it by watching him eat! Gus wants to please, is very smart and is a quick learner. Very much treat and toy motivated! He is a wonderful boy that will make a great addition to the lucky home that adopts him!

Gus would like to request that his home have a yard with a fence(privacy fence preferred) with room to romp and play. He would also prefer a home with at least one person home most of the day. Work from home, stay at home parent or retired would be perfect. A doggy friend would be nice but he would be just as happy as the only dog soaking up all the love attention. He is also great with kids!

Peanut has been a long term resident with her foster but has finally gone on a two week trial with her potential new adopters and things have been going great. Her adopters have stated they want to keep her and we couldn’t be more excited and happy for her.

Stay tuned m as we will 100% know Saturday if she now has her forever loving family ❤️❤️

Keep Peanut in your prayers and keep those fingers crossed this will be her official gotcha day!!!!

Patches was a third party tag for a person who allowed him to sit in urine as he had horrible urine stains, skin issues and was very underweight. His pulling rescue had no interest in him as they do cats and was mistakenly brought to a sr dogs vet and was properly vetted and neutered. Due to the rescue having no adoption program we have agreed to take over his care and work thru his issues. He has not been able to find a foster so will need to go into boarding while we continue the search.

Patches is right at year and such a sweet dog but hasn’t figured out his size or strength lol He starves for attention and loves to play fetch

He will be boarding for $20 a day for 3 weeks which is $420. We have covered his food for his stay and really would use some help with boarding as we have several others we are covering at this time boarding with no help

Look who is ready for adoption and arrives at the rescue tomorrow!! MEET Chewy!!!!

Chewy is a true lovebug with a gorgeous soft fluffy coat and soulful eyes! This guy is sweet as can be and greets everyone with a big tail wag and will even get up on his hind legs and give you a hug!!! He is a 2-3 years old Chow/retriever mix. He has been living in a foster home that includes another dogs and resident dogs. Chewy loves attention and will attach to his person and be your couch buddy. Great with adults and we expect he will be good with older kids. Chewy is dog friendly but wouldn’t mind being the center of attention. His has been an excellent car rider, couch cuddler, enjoys his walks, and romping around in the fenced in backyard. Chewy does fairly well on leash and has come along way from when he left the shelter. He can be shy at first but warms up quickly. Chewy is both house and crate trained. NO CATS!!! If you are looking for a best friend and companion, Chewy just might be the new furry family member you have been waiting for!
While in our care Chewy has been fully vetted, is up to date on vaccines and preventatives, heartworm tested, neutered and microchipped.
