Our River Rock Adult Day Program started a new volunteer partnership with Buckeye's Missions and Sanctuary this week! Our participants enjoyed meeting the staff (and the animals!) and learning about the sanctuary - before getting right to work. We are excited about this new way to give back to the community, build life skills, and make a difference together.

As we continue to spotlight our physical therapy team during October’s , this week we feature our PT Stephanie. The client who has particularly inspired her lately is Eliana!
“I chose Eliana because she is such a fighter. She has a very rare diagnosis that presents itself with unique seizures and sometimes completely depletes all of her energy. Even on her low energy days, she is trying her hardest and smiling through the work. Eliana continues to amaze me with her determination to continue to progress in her strength and mobility, even with all that she has to overcome. She inspires me to be a better physical therapist and pushes me to continue to learn and grow.”

October is National Physical Therapy Month – and we are celebrating our wonderful PT team by having each of them select a client who has particularly inspired them lately.
For our PT April, that client is Aryia, whose nickname is Sass😊
