Since its debut in 2023, Downtown Westfield WinterWalk has been bringing a little old-fashioned urban holiday magic and excitement back to downtown Westfield through the arts!
Blending a traditional indoor urban art walk with elements of European outdoor winter markets, this FREE community experience brings together local and regional fine artists, artisans, authors and musicians from in pop-up art galleries and bookshops inside and outside along Elm Street from the Olver Transit Pavilion at the Elm Street Plaza to the Park Square Gazebo and lots of cool spaces and places in between!
WinterWalk is a celebration of creativity and community, offering visitors, guests and WinterWalkers opportunities to discover fine art and literature, explore downtown shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, and find unique gifts just in time for the holidays! 🎁
WinterWalk is intentionally and purposely timed to coincide with the sweet spot of the holiday shopping and gift giving season!
🎨 WHO SHOULD APPLY?
We're seeking for up to 50 new, emerging, experienced and professional fine artists and fine artisans, authors and creators. This is a JURIED fine art and literature show!
🖼️ ACCEPTED MEDIA
• Fine art mediums include painting, drawing, mixed media, collage, photography, sculpture and printmaking
• Artisan-quality work in glass, wood, clay and metal. Think unique, one-of-a-kind creations!
• Original literature in all genres
All work must be original and created solely by the applicant. AI-generated work, 3D-printed work, patterns, tutorials, copyrighted characters, mass-produced items and commercial merchandise are not accepted.
📍 DISPLAY SPACES
• Indoor: Approximately 4' x 6' spaces in shops, former retail spaces, restaurants, a bookstore and even an active transportation facility!
• Outdoor: 10' x 10' spaces suitable for pop-up tents
