We are so proud of you both for successfully completing your first year with Mis Fuertes Raíces and completing our curriculum.
Throughout this year, we have watched you grow into confident, strong, and inspiring young leaders.
As you enjoy the summer creating memories with your families, know that this is only the beginning of your journey. This fall, you will return not only as participants but as mentors, helping guide and inspire the next group of girls.

One Year Down, A Lifetime of Impact Ahead
One year ago, Mis Fuertes Raíces began with a vision to empower and uplift young Latina leaders.

Today, we proudly celebrate a year filled with growth, leadership, connection, and purpose.
Together, we have made an impact in our community, built meaningful relationships, created beautiful memories, and watched our girls grow into confident young leaders. Every conversation, activity, and shared experience has helped strengthen our roots and our future.

Thank you to our girls, families, volunteers, and supporters for being part of this incredible journey. This is only the beginning, and we cannot wait to see what the next year brings.

This month at Mis Fuertes Raices, our girls learned the importance of financial literacy through hands-on experiences. They practiced balancing a checkbook, filling out deposit slips, budgeting, saving money, understanding bills, and learning the difference between wants and needs.

The girls also became entrepreneurs for a day by selling handmade items, learning communication skills, earning money, and building confidence.

They proudly represented Mis Fuertes Raices during a fundraising event as we continue expanding to serve more Latina youth girls.

We wrapped up the month with a fun game of Monopoly Jr., where they learned about money management, decision-making, and unexpected expenses.

At Mis Fuertes Raices, we are building confident, responsible, and empowered future leaders.

At Mis Fuertes Raíces, we see the quiet sacrifices, the late nights, the encouragement, the protection, and the unconditional love that help young girls grow into confident, empowered young women.
