Business on Tap: Real Conversations. Fresh Perspectives. No Forced Networking.

No name tags. No awkward icebreakers. No pressure to work the room. Just meaningful conversations about the issues, opportunities, and changes shaping business today.

Join us at Fattey Beer Co. for a laid-back afternoon of conversation, community, and perspective-sharing. Our first topic, "New Faces of Leadership," will dive into how leadership is changing - from the rise of more authentic and adaptable management styles to the growing importance of diverse experiences, emotional intelligence, and workplace culture. Hear from the President of Otterbein University, Dr. John Comerford, who is navigating these shifts firsthand - then pull up a chair and join the discussion!

Registration is just $15 and includes your first drink. https://business.westervillechamber.com/events/details/business-on-tap-new-faces-of-leadership-14714

Special thanks to CME Federal Credit Union the Presenting Sponsor of our inaugural Business on Tap event, for helping bring this new networking experience to life.

Juneteenth was made a federal holiday 5 years ago, and is being observed today. The Westerville Area Chamber's offices are CLOSED today. Be sure to check business hours today around the city as some businesses will be closed today!

Juneteenth (combining the words β€œJune” and β€œnineteenth”) commemorates June 19, 1865, the day that enslaved people in Galveston, Texas learned of their freedom.

Today, we honor the historic significance of Juneteenth and the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. As we reflect on our shared history, let us embrace unity, celebrate diversity, and work towards a future of equality and opportunity.

As business owners, it's easy to end the day feeling exhausted but wondering what actually moved the business forward. The difference isn't working more hours, it's focusing on the right things.

In our latest blog, ActionCOACH Columbus coaches Michelle Calcasola and Pete McDowell share five key lessons from their recent "Profit Through Productivity" session, including:
βœ”οΈ Why self-management matters more than time management
βœ”οΈ How distractions quietly steal hours from your week
βœ”οΈ The power of systems and accountability
βœ”οΈ Why cash flow deserves more attention than profit

If you're ready to turn effort into results, this is worth the read.
