๐Ÿ’‰ COVID-19 Vaccine Fact: Protect Your Health This Season ๐Ÿฆ

Did you know? COVID-19 vaccines help your immune system recognize and respond to the virus, which can reduce the risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and complications from COVID-19.

Staying up to date with recommended vaccines is one way to help protect yourself, your family, and your community. โค๏ธ

โœ… Talk with your healthcare provider about what vaccines are right for you

Inclusion means accessโ€”to play, to learn, and to lead. ๐Ÿ’™

This , we celebrate the strengths, talents, and achievements of students with learning disabilities. We also recognize the teachers, coaches, families, and peers who believe in their potential and help create opportunities for success.

At Special Olympics, we know that when everyone is included, everyone benefits. Together, we can build communities where every person is valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Awareness โžก๏ธ Understanding โžก๏ธ Inclusion ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

Thatโ€™s the journeyโ€”and athletes with Down syndrome are leading the way every day.

Through sports, friendship, leadership, and determination, they are breaking down barriers, challenging misconceptions, and showing whatโ€™s possible when everyone is given the opportunity to belong.

Today, we celebrate the abilities, achievements, and contributions of individuals with Down syndrome and reaffirm our commitment to creating communities where everyone is valued, respected, and included.

Together, we can move beyond awareness and build a world of true inclusion.

๐Ÿ’‰ Flu Season is Here โ€” Protect Yourself and Those Around You! ๐Ÿฆ

Did you know the flu vaccine does not give you the flu? The vaccine helps your immune system learn how to recognize and fight influenza so you can be better protected throughout the season.

Getting your flu shot each year is one of the best ways to help reduce your risk of serious illness and protect the people around you โ€” including family, friends, and those who may be more vulnerable.

โœ… Stay up to date on your vaccinations
โœ… Wash your hands often
โœ… Stay home when youโ€™re sick
โœ… Take steps to keep your community healthy

A small step can make a big difference! ๐Ÿ’™
