Hi neighbors,
As part of the HOA playground committee, with Jeremy & Kim Windle and Chelsea Mays, we’re excited to move forward with plans for a new playground in our neighborhood. Our goal is to create a space that’s fun, safe, and meets the needs of families here—while also being mindful of costs.
We’re reaching out to see if anyone has connections, recommendations, or resources related to:
• Landscaping companies
• Playground equipment vendors or installers
• Any relevant contacts who might help us explore affordable options
If you’ve worked with a company you’d recommend or know someone in the industry, we’d really appreciate any introductions or information you can share.
We’re looking forward to building something great for the neighborhood and appreciate your help in making it happen.

WBHAO Annual meeting
We will be holding our Annual HOA Meeting March 26th at 7pm, Lakes Golf & Country Club. Please join us for a chance to catch up with or meet your neighbors, as well as hear a little bit about what is happening around The Bend! In addition, this year we will have a member of the Genoa Twp Police Dept on hand to provide updates from around the township and answer any questions we may have. Please let us know if you have any specific questions or concerns you would like to have addressed at this meeting.

Hello neighbors - sad to report that we were just told about a couple more attempted car break ins here in WB this past week. On Willow Bend Dr and on Lynbrook Lane. Please be vigilant and make sure your outside vehicles are locked and if you see anything suspicious please notify the Genoa Twp police.

Reminder - WARM Food Drive donation pick up will start this Saturday at 930a.m.. Please have your donations on your porch at that time. Also, we are still looking for some folks to volunteer for an hour that morning to assist in helping us pick up goods and put in cars that morning. If you can spare 45 min to an hour to assist it would be greatly appreciated. Will be getting organized to start pickups at 5469 Salem Drive. Please come by if you would like to help out.

FYI - it's time for the annual WBHOA/WARM food drive. Grocery Bags will be delivered on Sunday, November 30th and collections of food donations will be on Saturday, December 6th starting around 930am. A listing of what WARM is most in need of this year can be seen on the attached photo. We are also seeking for some new volunteers to get involved and keep this neighborhood tradition alive in the coming years. Super easy to take part in and very little time commitment. This is also a great opportunity for volunteer hours for any high school students trying to log hours towards their National Honor Society requirements. Any persons interested in helping out, or if you have questions, please contact Dave Chapman with questions 614-226-5404.
