Hello all - we anticipate picking up our new fish for the pond around 3/315pm tomorrow (Oct 8) over in Delaware and being back here ready to put in pond around 415/430pm. If you, or any of your kids, wish to help out in hauling the fish out to the pond tomorrow .... please keep watching this feed/message for updated arrival info. Once we have the fish in hand and are on our way back here, We will post our ETA. It's our goal to get these fish into the water as fast as possible once we get back to the neighborhood. Lets plan on using the Salem Drive path entrance as our central meeting spot and delivery point. If you have a wagon, please bring with you as that might make transporting the boxes back to the pond easier. Questions? feel free to respond to this message below

Love wildlife? Us too.

Keep them healthy by letting them find food for themselves. Feeding brings animals together, where they can more easily transmit diseases like Chronic Wasting Disease in deer.

Hello neighbors - just an fyi, in an ongoing effort to keep our communal property in good working order, there will be a work crew replacing the roof on the pond gazebo on Wednesday, Sept 9th. They plan on taping off the area around the gazebo to keep folks at a safe distance from this area while work is underway. Planned time for completion is 6-7 days. They will be putting up tarps/netting to help keep any waste from falling into the pond during this project - please ask your children to avoid this area during the construction period. The path will continue to passable during this project - just no access to the gazebo itself. The current roof appears to pre-date our subdivision and is way past due for an overhaul. Hopefully this refresh will help it last for many more years of enjoyment. Also to note - we will be stocking the pond on the evening of Oct 8th with Bluegill, Catfish, Largemouth Bass, and Sun Crackers. Grass Carp being re-introduced as well. These will all be whats called fingerlings and should help keep the pond clean and healthy as well as improve the fishing in the years to come. Anyone wanting to take part in the stocking effort please post a message below and we will be in touch with how you or your kids can take part. More info to follow as we get closer to Oct 8th:)

Hello all,
For those of you who frequent the pond area you have probably noticed some trees that have been damaged due to an animal chewing on them. We seem to have become a new home for a beaver that found its way here most likely from the Alum Creek area. We have engaged a professional trapper to try and capture and remove the beaver before any more damage is done. These are typically nocturnal creatures so it is doubtful you will encounter this animal during the daylight hours but please keep your eyes open and let us know if you spot him/her while out walking around the pond. Will advise once beaver has been removed.

These young men did an excellent job recently at our front entrance on both the structures and the sidewalk near the flowerbeds. They have also done a couple neighbors driveways and patios. Apparently we had some minor storm damage occur over the past week involving several trees falling down across the walking path behind the homes on Lynbrook Lane. Know that we are working on getting a crew in here shortly to clear the path and remove the debris. Sorry for any inconvenience.
