Let's talk about money today, out loud.

It's Latina Equal Pay Day. Latinas working full time, year round are paid 58 cents for every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men. Over a career that adds up to more than $1.2 million.

For the rest of October ELLA is focusing on three words: Power, Pay, Progress.

Here's how we see it. A pay gap closes in three places: the negotiation, the org chart, and the employer's pay practice. ELLA works on all three, with six months of mentorship, workshops on money and personal branding, and board readiness, free for every participant because donors cover it.
