It is one of 42 branches of IDA in the country and the most recent branch to be formed in Ohio (1997). Sister Ohio branches include the Ohio Valley Branch located in Cincinnati and the Northern Ohio Branch in Cleveland.

The 2026 Ohio School Report Cards show that students are making significant gains in literacy!

With support from the General Assembly, we made the Science of Reading a requirement in Ohio schools because we know it is the best method we have for teaching children to read.

A change of this scale takes time and persistence, and this year's report cards reflect the hard work of teachers and students -- it is a tremendous accomplishment!
