With a little planning, travel can still be meaningful and safe. Here are a few tips to help make your journey smoother:

âś… Stick to familiar destinations and routines
âś… Travel during the time of day your loved one feels best
âś… Pack a bag of essentials: medications, snacks, water, comfort items
âś… Inform hotel staff of any specific needs ahead of time
âś… Allow extra time for rest and avoid over-scheduling
âś… Carry emergency contacts, medical info, and legal documents

Join us for our statewide virtual Walk Pep Rally as volunteers, team captains, participants, sponsors, and other community members and partners. You'll also have an opportunity to meet the Iowa Chapter team, welcome our new Executive Director, Dave Grams, and get energized for Walk season.
