What Set This Club Apart?
It's the number one question we've received since forming in January of 2019, what sets your Toastmasters club apart from the others?
It's a fair question. After-all, if you're going to make the commitment of joining another Toastmasters club you want to know what will make this experience better.
CCAP, as we are known for short, was created with the idea that we don't limit our members to the types of development they want to pursue. Our focus is that our members are here to grow as presenters, so we need to allow them to grow in whatever avenue they choose. One of the unique ways we can do that is by offering what we call "enhanced evaluations." Unlike a typical Toastmasters meeting where you receive one two to three minute evaluation of your presentation CCAP offers two core evaluations followed by round-robin style feedback. The first evaluator focuses on your presentation as a whole with more emphasis on what to challenge yourself with the next time. The second evaluator looks at what your stage presence like, the delivery and the ex*****on. After that we open the floor to any member who would like to offer feedback.
Through enhanced evaluations our members find themselves getting the critical feedback that they need to challenge and begin to master their presentation styles.
