🌟 Welcome Our New TR Staff! 🌟

We have some new faces joining the TR team, and we are so excited to welcome them to the program!

First, please welcome Makenna, our new full-time CTRS! Makenna graduated from the University of Iowa and recently completed her summer internship in Omaha. We are excited to have her bring her knowledge, skills, creativity, and passion for recreation to the TR program. We are looking forward to all the new ideas and experiences she will bring to our team!

Next, we have LeAnn, our new part-time TR staff! LeAnn has been involved in recreation for many years and brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the program. In addition to her work with TR, Leann also owns her own art studio, where she teaches a variety of art classes. She has already shared her talents with our program by leading a stained glass and rope art activity and bringing some fun, hands-on creativity to TR!

We are so excited to have Makenna and LeAnn join the TR team and can't wait to see all the fun, creativity, and new ideas they bring to our program. Please join us in giving them a warm welcome!

🏈🏐 Congratulations to our Special Olympics athletes! 🏐🏈

Last Thursday and Friday, our Special Olympics Flag Football and Volleyball athletes competed at the Fall Classic! We are so proud of everyone who took the field and court, gave it their all, supported their teammates, and represented Link Associates. 💙

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers who dedicated their time, energy, and encouragement throughout the season. Your support helped make practices, competitions, and the entire season possible!

We are so proud of our athletes and all the hard work they put in this season!

🎡🍪 Day Camp at the Iowa State Fair! 🎠🐷

We had SO much fun at the Iowa State Fair! From enjoying lots of delicious fair food to exploring everything the fair had to offer including the butter cow of course, riding rides, and even holding snakes! It was a day full of fun and memories. And, of course, we couldn’t leave without taking on the mechanical bull! 🤠🐂

🎉 Iowa State Fair Parade Fun! 🎉

We had so much fun last night participating in the Iowa State Fair Parade! It was such a great evening to kick off the Iowa State Fair We loved being part of this special event and making memories together! ❤

Rain, rain go away.. TR has Summer plans to PLAY! ☀️😎

In case you saw the forecast… Summer BBQ Bash tonight is a go rain or shine (preferable SHINE!).

If your participants are concerned about the forecast, we completely understand. Please let TR know if anyone needs to cancel.

Otherwise, we will see everyone tonight - hopefully wearing their brightest, best summer gear!
