Santa Claus is coming to town, and he’s making a special stop at our Holiday Sip n’ Shop! 🎅🎄

For the first time ever, we’re bringing a little extra Christmas magic to our annual celebration! Bring the kiddos, get those Christmas wish lists ready, and stop by to meet the man in red himself! Bring your own camera or phone and snap FREE photos!

But Santa isn’t the only surprise we have up our sleeves! We’re pulling out all the stops for our 3rd annual Holiday Sip n’ Shop!

🎄Flash Tattoos! Our friends at Collective Artistry will be joining us for some festive ink!

🎄 50 FREE Swag Bags! The first 50 shoppers will snag a bag filled with goodies.

🎄Giveaways & Raffles! Because who doesn’t love a chance to take home something extra?

It's the most wonderful time of the year, and we're partnering with Des Moines Heritage Center for our 3rd Annual Look Local First Holiday Sip n' Shop, and this time we're doing it even bigger and better!

Our vendor lineup drops Monday! If you are still awaiting an email from us, please look out for an email this evening!

Attendees can expect:
🛍 The ability to shop with more than 40 local small businesses
🎄 Flash tattoos with the talented artists from Collective Artistry
🎅🏻 Free photo ops with Santa (bring your phone or camera)
🎁 Free swag bags for our first 50 shoppers
🎟 Free Admission AND free parking

This event is all about creating an inclusive space for shoppers to support small businesses BEFORE Black Friday. Save the date, grab a friend, and come sip & shop!

We wrapped up our Food Truck Wednesday series, co-hosted with VizyPay, with another local legend: Off The Griddle. They brought incredible flavor and energy to Waukee. Their pulled pork fries and Philly cheesesteaks were crowd favorites, and we look forward to welcoming them back next summer.

We want to thank the Waukee community for consistently showing up and showing out week after week to support these food trucks. It means more than you, and every week is a testament to how passionate our community is about supporting small businesses.

And to the food trucks, thank you for all of your hard work throughout the summer. We can't wait to have you back next year.

Date change: The 3rd Annual Look Local First Holiday Sip n' Shop is now Sunday, November 15, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Des Moines.

We had to move the date due to unforeseen circumstances, and we apologize for any inconvenience. We're emailing every current applicant today to confirm the new date still works for you, so keep an eye on your inbox and reply either way.

Because of the change, we're extending vendor applications through Friday, September 11.

Everything else stays the same. Santa meet and greets are still happening, and so is the shopper passport game that sends people from booth to booth all afternoon. That means real foot traffic and more eyes on what you sell.

If you've been thinking about applying, Friday is your deadline.
