Ashe County Habitat for Humanity ReStore is open Monday to Saturday 10-4. We are located at 505 S Jefferson Avenue, West Jefferson. All donations are greatly appreciated!

Ashe County Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with the people of Ashe County to eliminate substandard housing by building safe, affordable, decent housing with families in need. Our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Our goal is building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter in Ashe County. We work closely with qua

lified partner families, who don’t earn enough to qualify for a traditional home loan, to build and purchase their own home with an affordable mortgage. Ashe County Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. The Board of Directors are all volunteers from Ashe County and give of their time and talents to carry out the mission of Habitat.

It's official! House 12 has a new owner, and we are thrilled to see another family in Ashe County with an affordable home. Although the house dedication was several weeks ago, the official closing was recently completed, and we are celebrating with the new owner. We are moving along well with House 13 and look forward to sharing another closing with you later in 2026! More volunteers make more homes happen -- come join our team at the ReStore or job site -- either way, you are making affordable housing possible in our community!

Stop by the ReStore in West Jefferson and strike it big with the incredible furniture, appliances, and decorations that we have to offer — all at an affordable price! We have new items coming in all the time, so you never know what you may find on your next visit.

Every item that we sell supports our mission to provide affordable housing for people in need, so we are happy to help you find your next big purchase here at the ReStore. If you have items in good condition that you would like to donate, we would love to help with that too! Give us a call at our store number to schedule a pick-up, or you can drop by our ReStore anytime from 10:00–4:00 to deliver your donation.

We are so excited to introduce Ethan Atwood, our summer intern, who will be working with us through mid-July. Ethan, a native of Wilkesboro and current resident of Boone, is pursing a graduate degree from ASU in geography with a concentration in planning. He has a special interest in affordable housing and plans to pursue a career in the nonprofit sector where he hopes his career will create "community transformation." While he is with us this summer, he will work at the construction site on Mondays and Wednesdays and will be in the ReStore the rest of the time. Be sure to welcome Ethan when you see him this summer -- we are so thankful for his work with us!
