Hey Westwood family! I’m Anna Essick, your PTO President and Group Leader apart of the afterschool crew! I absolutely love our school and all the amazing people who make it what it is. I’m so excited for all we have planned this year and can’t wait to make some awesome memories together at Westwood Elementary!

Hello, my name is Stephanie Zandiotis, and I am the PTO Secretary for the 25-26 school year. My husband, myself, our 2 children, Emalee is in 6th grade and Ezra is in 3rd grade, just moved to Todd, NC from Fayetteville, NC. I was an ER nurse in our states busiest emergency room but since moving to the area, I plan to stay at home for a bit and be as involved in our children’s education as possible. We have loved our time here thus far, the people have been great and so welcoming❤️
I am so excited for what’s to come and I will do my best to represent Westwood Elementary School well. Thank you all for making us feel at home!

Our PTO is excited to be selling Boo-Grams to help raise funds for future PTO projects and events. This is a fun and thoughtful way to send a sweet reminder to students, teachers, or classmates to let them know they're loved and appreciated. If you would like to purchase Boo-Grams, please send a note with your child along with the money, which design or designs you want, and any special messages you want written on the along with the teacher of the students, along with the money in an envelope labeled PTO. We'll make sure your Boo-Grams are delivered with a little extra Halloween cheer!dy g

We are still selling Boo-Grams! If you would like to send one to your child, their teacher, friends, or fellow classmates please let us know. There are 4 designs to choose from. The Boo-gram will be delivered on Halloween to the classrooms and come with a sweet treat. These are a great way to show some kindness and love ❤️

My name is Molly Porter and I serve as the PTO Treasurer. This is my 4th year working with Ashe County schools and I am the current Student Services Coordinator for the High School. Im excited to start this year in the new role with the PTO. My son is currently a 5th grader. I am also a Scout Den Leader, and member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows #38.

Hello Westwood Families!
My name is Jessica Hartzog, and I’m proud to serve as your PTO Vice President this year. As the Afterschool Coordinator and a parent of four children who have all attended Westwood, I’ve seen firsthand just how special our school truly is. I believe the PTO plays a vital role in building strong connections between our students, families, staff, and community. I’m so excited to be part of this year’s journey and look forward to working together to make it an amazing year for everyone!
