Badges of Ashe supports local law enforcement every single day but this week we wanted to do a little something extra in honor of National Police Week. To show our appreciation, we purchased 58 gift cards from local restaurants so that every officer in Ashe County received a small token of gratitude for their service. This community is safer, stronger, and better because of the men and women who put on the badge. We are proud to stand behind them, this week and every week.

National Police Week 🚔 2026

Established in 1962, President John. F Kennedy recognized all Law Enforcement personal. May our nation honor the bravery, sacrifice, and dedication of all law enforcement officers.

Also, this week, we remember all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and given their lives in the line of duty. This week, we remember and celebrate the brave men and women who serve our nation with bravery and integrity each day. Thank you for standing behind the badge and being true heroes each day.

National Correctional Officer Week!!!

This week, we celebrate the brave men and women who serve on the front lines of public safety in our prisons and jails. We want to say a big THANK YOU to each one who puts on the uniform and works hard every day.

To every correctional officer of the Ashe County Sheriff's Office Detention Center, THANK YOU!. Your dedication and commitment to keeping our detention center safe and running smoothly does not go unnoticed. We are grateful for all you do each and every day!
