The Chester County Community Foundation is honored to be able to support this historic West Chester mural.

The beautiful mural was created by Downingtown artist Al Moretti and his sons Aaron and Reuben. Their talent encapsulates the abundant history of West Chester through three historical figures who helped shaped the town.

As America approaches its 250th anniversary, join the Avon Grove Library for an engaging and thought-provoking evening exploring the birth of our nation. Local historian Jim Segrave-Daly leads this lively program examining the creation of the Declaration of Independence and the intense debates that shaped one of the most influential documents in history.

Experience a public reading of the Declaration, dive into the ideals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and reflect on why these words still matter today.

Join Noah Lewis from American Historical Theater as he brings Ned to life—showing his uniform, soldier’s kit, and sharing tales of courage at the Battles of Brandywine and Germantown.
