The Charlestown Revolutionary Cemetery Memorial Day celebration may have been postponed by rain, but it created an even greater opportunity to celebrate together.

Join us on Friday, July 18th at The Mill at Brightside Farm for the rescheduled Dare to Declare event as part of the AMERICA250 celebration. Guests will experience the ringing of a vintage bell, sign the Declaration of Independence, and take part in a unique patriotic celebration featuring a flag dedication, Revolutionary Cannon, and the Declaration all in one location.

We look forward to honoring our history, celebrating freedom, and bringing the community together for America’s 250th anniversary. 🇺🇸

We are excited to support Kennett Collaborative’s expanded America 250 programming, helping bring a season of patriotic celebration, community events, and downtown beautification to Kennett Square.

This community-wide initiative includes:
📜 A special Third Thursday celebration on June 18 featuring a public reading of the Declaration of Independence
🌺 Patriotic décor, American flags, and seasonal red, white, and blue plantings throughout downtown Kennett Square

Festive American decorations will begin appearing throughout town the week of May 18, creating a welcoming and celebratory atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.

Additional beautification efforts including refreshed seasonal planters and floral displays will also be supported through community fundraising efforts such as the Kennett Blooms Plant Sale.

We are honored to partner with organizations like Kennett Collaborative that strengthen community connection, celebrate local pride, and create vibrant public spaces for everyone to enjoy.

Kennett Collaborative is also inviting residents and businesses to support the “250 in Kennett” campaign through sponsorship opportunities beginning at $25.

It was an honor to help support this meaningful community event through one of our funds as Chester County came together to honor military service members across the Brandywine Valley.

It was a great event filled with community pride, appreciation, and connection, and we’re grateful to have been part of it.

We’re proud to support programs and events that bring people together, honor service, and strengthen community connections throughout our region.

Thank you to everyone who participated, organized, and helped make the event such a success.
