We are a volunteer nonprofit organization providing medical and dental health care to the uninsured

CVIM provides services for those individuals whose income is at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty guidelines and are not eligible for Medical Assistance, Medicare, VA benefits or the Children’s Health Insurance Program.

Delicious News!

CVIM is proud to be recognized as one of the Philadelphia Inquirer's Top Workplaces of 2026. Most importantly, we were ranked #1 for Meaningfulness, with the description "My job makes me feel like I am part of something meaningful." CVIM's Chief Operating Officer Greg Papa put it best when he said "This recognition reflects the extraordinary sense of purpose that brings our mission to life every day."

Many thanks to Dia Doce for helping us celebrate this accomplishment with a visit from their famous cupcake truck! Staff and volunteers alike enjoyed the yummy gourmet cupcakes in seasonal flavors.

Community Volunteers in Medicine will again host Give Veterans a Smile day on Tuesday, November 10. This event in our West Chester health center provides FREE dental care for all area veterans who don't have dental insurance. Appointments are necessary—please call 610.836.5990 ext. 125 to schedule. This annual event fills up quickly!

WHAT AN AWESOME DAY!

We are still reeling from the success of CVIM's 3rd Annual Dr. Mary's Legacy Run event on Saturday!

Whether you ran the 5K, walked, donated, sponsored, or volunteered, 275 of you showed up on Saturday to help us raise over $70,000 for a fantastic cause: providing free, high-quality healthcare to low-income, uninsured, working members of our community in memory of the late Dr. Mary Wirshup.
