Join us for an evening before the Oscars!

The Polish Institute is pleased to announce the showing of “EO” by legendary Polish film director Jerzy Skolimowski. “EO” most recently received an Oscar nomination for Best International Feature Film. It also won the Jury’s Award in last year’s Cannes Film Festival.

The winners of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awards will be announced on Sunday, March 12, during a gala held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Other contenders in the Best International Feature Film category include: 'Close' by Lucas Dhont (Belgium) and 'All Quiet on the Western Front' by Edward Berger (Germany).

**The film will be showcased on March 11, 2023 at 6:30 pm.**

General Józef Haller formed the Polish “Blue Army", which included over 20,000 Polish volunteers from North America, many from Michigan, who joined to fight with the Allied Powers during WWI. Join us in dedicating a monument of Gen. Haller on Sunday, October 2. Keynote address by the new Consul General of Poland from Chicago.
