It’s Giving Tuesday!
We’re wrapping up fundraising for Shop with a Hero, happening this weekend with the West Bloomfield Police & Fire Departments.
We’re supporting 27 kids from 8 families, giving them the chance to shop for clothes, essentials, and holiday gifts with local first responders.

Today is Giving Tuesday, and we are in the final stretch of fundraising for Shop with a Hero!

This weekend, we’re teaming up with the West Bloomfield Police and Fire Departments to give 27 kids from 8 local families a special holiday shopping experience.

Shop with a Hero lets families facing financial challenges shop alongside first responders to pick out clothes, essentials, and a few fun holiday items, something many wouldn’t be able to do otherwise.

The 2026 WBYA Youth Recognition Awards are now accepting nominations!!!

Do you know a young person who has made a difference in the community, shown outstanding leadership, or overcome personal challenges?
This is your chance to recognize them.
Eligible nominees must reside within the West Bloomfield School District or attend a district school, though students outside the district may be considered if they serve the West Bloomfield community. All school-age youth are welcome to be nominated.

Stop by West Bloomfield high school and their family fun day and see us at the West Bloomfield Yourh Assistance. Come get some good swag from us and many many many other community businesses and vendors and nonprofits and organizations and you name it. There are bounce houses, a dunk tank, food and fun.
