MaintainingThe Mission supported the 2nd ANNUAL Farm To Table hosted by the Garden Of Constantina.

The youth toured the garden that had various herbs and vegetables.

They were taught how to recognize various herbs and vegetables, they selected a vegetable or herb seed to plant and was given instructions on how to grow and maintain it.

Tasting and touching things throughout the garden was a great experience.

Maintaining The Mission was honored to join the other presenters supporting Carver STEM Academy Career Day.

It was really rewarding to have the opportunity for discussing with the students and staff some of the services Maintaining The Mission provides in the community.

It was a double pleasure when the students saw themselves and their classmates in the photo collages of past events that we use for props during our presentations.

Maintaining The Mission was invited to attend the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce Breakfast With Champions.
Honorees were Bloomfield Township Supervisor Mike McCready, Police Chief James Gallagher and Birmingham Police Chief Scott Grewe.
It was interesting to hear the officials discuss the concerns of their communities and the steps that are being taken to address them.

Maintaining The Mission, Gaining Ground & John Wesley Men's Ministry co-sponsored their "What Has You Pinned Down" Youth Development Workshop at Plum Hollow Lanes.

The mentoring session with the youth was vital and ensured a safe space where they could relax and engage in open discussions.

Afterwards the adults relaxed while watching the youths have a great time bowling and laughing together in a inclusive community environment.

This workshop helped youth discuss their Next Move and opportunities to maneuver in today's climate through education, sports and various activities.

Supporters were Tim Hortons, Pita Way Mediterranean Eats, Ariel Crutchfield & United Credit Education Services.

The event design was to foster early financial insight into money management.

This event was attended by several motivated, joyful young ladies.

The attendees had the opportunity to participate in board games, learning basic gardening, sharing gifts and exchanging stories.

The BLACK EXPO was a tremendous gathering of Black Businesses that came together for higher visibility, displaying cultural pride and economic equity.

The BLACK EXPO was a family friendly event that buzzed with the sounds of the vendors, laughter, footsteps and music.
