Chipper's Doxie and Newfie Rescue We rescue in memory of our beloved senior rescue doxie "Chipper" They are also checked for heartworm and intestinal parasites. We do accept owner surrenders.

Adoption fees vary=

All dogs are spayed/neutered and brought up to date on all of their vaccines. Senior dogs have a complete blood workup done and have their teeth cleaned. Dachshunds and other small breeds regardless of age or medical condition. We also accept small dog hospice patients.

Rocco has been ADOPTED!!! Everyone welcome "Rocco" to Chipper's Rescue. This cute boy is a 4 year old purebred small Standard Dachshund. His color is called Piebald.
Rocco is extremely friendly and loves to play with toys. He is a bit overweight at 20 pounds. should weigh around 17. He is neutered and up to date on everything.
You will need a veterinary reference and secure fenced yard to adopt him.

Chipper's Doxie and Newfie Rescue has come back out of retirement!. We rescue Dachshunds and other small breeds as well as Newfoundlands and other Giant breeds.
UPDATE-
Tank has been adopted!!
We will miss him. He was such a sweet boy. Now living with a nice young couple in Swartz Creek. He is the only dog and will be very pampered and loved.
