Blue Lotus Center

Blue Lotus Center Sixty-four acres designed for those with challenges experiencing safe, accessible access to nature.

As a nonprofit, we provide accessible outdoor recreational and therapeutic opportunities in a caring, accepting, and inspiring 64-acre day camp setting. Accessible features include lift for the inground pool, accessible restrooms, and wide hiking trails and boardwalk.

So much work and so little time in a day can certainly feel overwhelming, especially now that our summer recreational programs are underway and groups have already begun visiting the Blue Lotus Center.

We truly don’t know what we would do without our incredible friends and volunteers from Manitou in North America who joined us on the Do-Good Bus, TMG Wisconsin, Portal, inc Grafton, Balance and the many amazing individuals who generously donated more than 150 hours of their time and talents to help get our grounds in tip-top shape for all of our guests to enjoy.

From cleanup projects to preparing outdoor spaces, your hard work, energy, and dedication make a tremendous difference. Because of you, the Blue Lotus Center is ready to welcome visitors for another unforgettable summer season.

We are beyond grateful for your support, your generosity, and your belief in our mission. Thank you for helping us create a beautiful and welcoming place for everyone who visits.

Men at work! Casey, Matt, Jim and Doug working on what we refer to as the decompression driveway, getting all her potholes filled and ground for a smooth ride for our guests to enjoy. The boardwalk is coming along too. Many holes have been drilled to secure the boards to ensure stability and safety for years to come!

Join us for a fun afternoon of all things birds! We are excited to welcome the Schlitz Audubon Raptor Educators who will be bringing some special guests! Be prepared to learn all about these wonderful feathered friends! There will be crafts and activities with bird themes as well as the opportunity to enjoy all of the nature activities the Blue Lotus Center has to offer! Suggested donation is $5/person or $20/family and car pooling is much appreciated!
