The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival is pleased to announce that Mary Ann Castro has been selected to serve as Director General of the 108th Washington State Apple Blossom Festival, scheduled for April 22 through May 2, 2027.
Castro, the Bookkeeper for St. Joseph Catholic School and longtime member of the Wenatchee Applarians, will lead the Festival’s planning and coordination efforts. She will work closely with the Festival Board of Directors and Volunteers to continue the traditions and success of one of Washington’s most beloved community celebrations.
Joining Castro on the Festival leadership team are Greg Wood, Assistant Director General; Steve Evitt, Program Director and Pageant Director, Wenatchee Central Lions Club; and Tim Meyer, Chancellor of the Wenatchee Applarians, the Festival’s official hosting organization.
The official theme for the 108th Washington State Apple Blossom Festival is “Having the Time of Our Lives.”
