Chorale fans, here are some photos of our recent concert at Carnegie Hall. More to come later, as we collect shared photos from Chorale members. These were pics taken by the Carnegie Hall folks. We were about 45 choristers strong in a choir of 230 singers. Columbia Chorale came the farthest and sported the largest contingency in the group! I could have posted 50 pictures of our conductor, Dr. Catherine Sailer, and they would all look different! She expressed so much emotion in her conducting, and you can get just a tiny glimpse of that here. Enjoy!

Columbia Chorale fans, the Columbia Chorale (well, just over half of us) are performing tomorrow evening at Carnegie Hall in New York City! We are part of a massive, 230 voice chorus of folks from all across the country. We traveled the furthest, and are the largest of about 8 or 10 participating choirs. Vivaldi's Gloria will have never sounded better, after two, 4-1/2 hour rehearsals in New York. (All participating choirs have already learned the work; this is just fine tuning!)

Will post professional pictures of the event in a week or two. Sorry, no livestream or video can be posted!

Did you know that the Columbia Chorale will be singing at Carnegie Hall in May? Read more about it in this Article from the Wenatchee World! If you would like to hear some of the music we will be singing come join us this Saturday at Wenatchee High School! The link for tickets are in this article and will also be posted in the comments section!

The voices in a choir begin as individuals: a teacher, a retiree, a parent, a musician. Then, almost imperceptibly, they braid together. Breath meets breath, sound gathers, some say heartbeats
