We wrapped up the week with the ultimate Battle of the Bands Catering Tour 2026 lunch experience! 🤩

From the Backstreet Boys to *NSYNC, Britney Spears to Christina Aguilera — our staff was treated like the pop superstars they are! 🌟💿✨

Day 3 of Staff Appreciation Week was sweet 🍩✨

🎶 Donut Stop Believing! 🎶

This morning we treated our incredible teachers and staff to a delicious spread of breakfast goodies and drinks to help fuel their day. From donuts to coffee and everything in between, it was the perfect way to say THANK YOU for all the energy, care, and dedication they bring to our students each and every day.

We’re so grateful for this amazing staff — you truly keep us going! 💛

🌟 Celebrating Excellence at Schlegel! 🌟

We are thrilled to share that our very own Mr. Pittman has been honored with this year’s Oak Tree Award! 🌳✨

This prestigious award recognizes staff who exemplify excellence in their field, show unwavering commitment to their students, and serve as leaders within our school community and Mr. Pittman truly embodies all of these qualities and more.

From the impact he makes in the classroom each day to the relationships he builds with students, families, and colleagues, Mr. Pittman is an incredible asset to Schlegel Elementary. His dedication, passion, and leadership do not go unnoticed, and we are so proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition.

Congratulations again to this year's Oak Tree Award winners for excellence in teaching! Greg Pittman (elementary level) and Meghann Piwko (secondary level) were honored by the Board of Education at last night's meeting. In addition to supporters, family, friends and colleagues, WTA and PTSA reps were on hand to present Greg and Meghann with plaques that will hang in their respective buildings for the next year. They are pictured with BOE President Janice Richardson, WTA rep Jennifer Gunerman, PTSA rep Kim Kozlowski and Superintendent of Schools Brian Neenan.
Webster CSD extends its heartfelt congratulations to Greg, Meghann, and the other exceptional teachers nominated this year. We are fortunate to have so many outstanding educators!

Our “Rollin’ with My Homies” snack cart was a hit—loaded with delicious treats and powered by some incredible volunteers and families that graciously donated all of these goodies.

🎨🏃‍♀️ Get ready to run, laugh, and get COLORFUL! 🏃‍♂️🎨

Join the Spry PTSA for our Community Color Run on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the Spry back fields! This fun-filled event is open to all ages, so bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a morning of excitement and community spirit.

🌈 Event Details:
• First wave kicks off at 10:00 AM
• New waves start every 10 minutes until 12:00 PM
• Run, walk, or dance your way through bursts of color!

🆕 New This Year – Color War Arena!
From 10:30–11:30 AM, registered participants with wristbands can jump into our Color War Arena! Bring your own color pouches or use our mini powder balls and get ready for a fun, fast-paced game (think dodgeball… with COLOR!).

👕 What to Wear:
We encourage everyone to wear white t-shirts, sunglasses or goggles, and even tutus for extra fun!
Bandanas and extra color pouches will also be available for purchase.

🍔 Stick around after your run!
Enjoy food trucks and post-race refreshments while you celebrate your colorful accomplishment.

What a night! 🎉

Our Spring Fling Family Fun Night was a huge success, and it’s all thanks to this incredible community! From crafts and robotics to the book fair, pizza, and so many smiling faces—Schlegel Road was full of energy, laughter, and connection.

A special shoutout to our amazing PTSA crew (pictured here heading out after a rewarding evening!). Your time, creativity, and dedication made this event possible. And thank you to all the families, staff, and volunteers who joined us and made the night so memorable.
