• As snow piles up, please take a moment to check around your home
• Clear snow from fire hydrants, mailboxes, and house numbers
• These small actions can make a big difference during an emergency
Why this matters:
• Firefighters need fast, unobstructed access to hydrants
• Emergency crews must be able to quickly identify house numbers
• Delays of even seconds can impact safety during fires or medical calls
• If you’re already shoveling, consider helping a neighbor too
• A few extra minutes can help protect the entire community

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of longtime Webster Kiwanis member John Schwenzer.

John joined the Webster Kiwanis Club in 1969 and dedicated more than five decades to serving our community. He served as President-Elect in 2011 and as Club President in 2012, 2013, and 2021. His leadership, kindness, and commitment to Kiwanis will never be forgotten.

John will be deeply missed by our Kiwanis family. We extend our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. 💙

A big thank-you to Rising Storm Brewing for hosting us and generously supporting our fundraiser! Their generosity helps us continue to support Scouting, children & families in the Webster area, and area group homes.

We’re also grateful to our Girl Scouts, who created beautiful gift baskets that added so much to the event — thank you for your creativity and hard work!

And of course, thank you to the amazing Rising Storm staff who made the night so enjoyable!
