When De'Shon Cooper arrived at Eastern University as a first-year student, he had a "case of the nervous nellies mixed with anxiousness, sprinkled with curiosity, and a dash of doubt that makes for the perfect freshman," he playfully reminisced.

Welcome (back) MASTERS Campolo Fellow, Micah Chapman!

I live in Pitman, NJ, where I will be serving as the youth ministry intern for Pitman United Methodist Church. Currently, I am in the first year of the in-person Master of Divinity Program. At my core, I love networking, connecting, and bridging individuals and groups within the body of Christ to shine the light of Christ with gifts, expected and unexpected, both individually and communally, all in a lifestyle of worship for the glory of the kingdom of God now and in the future. I love playing music very much for fun and for Jesus, as well as leading musical worship by the strength of the Holy Spirit, whether it is piano, guitar, drum set, or singing, but I also enjoy watching or listening to other people use gifts of the arts. In the future, I feel called to vocational ministry as a pastor, chaplain, and/or nonprofit community position where I can keep that core passion by combining my love for multiple types of ministry passions from evangelism, social justice, pastoral care, biblical studies, youth ministry, and worship leadership in one or multiple positions. Welcome (back) Micah!
