At the Women’s Resource Center, we believe every woman deserves access to the support, resources, and opportunities she needs to thrive. For over 50 years, WRC has worked to empower women and girls as they navigate life’s transitions and build brighter futures.

Earlier this month, I presented the Women's Resource Center with $100,000 to help fund their Girls Lead program at their annual Breakthrough Breakfast. This funding was secured in conjunction with Rep. Melissa Shusterman 💗

I have been familiar with the work of the Women’s Resource Center since my time as a commissioner in Radnor, and it was one of the first non-profits I visited after being elected to state office. Girls Lead has been a beacon of strength and community for young girls in the region for over two decades. This program is aimed at helping middle and high school girls with untapped leadership potential find their footing and thrive.

We are all better when our young women can move through the world with confidence. Beth Monroe, WRC's Executive Director, and Board President Bridgett Battles lead the way in this amazing work! Thank you to all the facilitators who work to make the program possible, and especially the Girls Lead Program Director Danielle Siwek, for helping to shape our female leaders of the future!

You don’t have to wait until you feel confident to take the first step. 💛

Showing up, trying, and continuing forward, that’s where confidence begins. At WRC, we’re here to support women and girls as they turn effort into empowerment, one step at a time.
