The Friends of Dobson Inc is working to obtain funding through Grants and Donations to improve the Outdoor Space and supplement the educational programs of the James Dobson School
The Friends of Dobson is a group independent of the School District of Philadelphia which grew out of a need to improve the physical plant and supplement the educational programs at the James Dobson School. The Friends of Dobson is a registered nonprofit. Our mission is to implement physical improvements (specifically the Master Plan for open space) and educational supports as needed and as funding permits for the James Dobson School. Take a minute and review the Conceptional Plan for Dobson school which is outlined in the attached photo album. This conceptional plan was drawn up by the Community Design Collaborative who worked with interested staff, parents and community members to put together this plan. We welcome input from the Dobson community and look forward to working with you to improve the physical plant and educational opportunities at the James Dobson School. If you are interested in volunteer opportunities, please feel free to contact us.
