Sorry we've been a little MIA! The end of the school year and the start of summer have kept our little nonprofit board busy, but we wanted to share a few exciting updates!

🤍 We've joined CarePortal through Avenue Church! This gives us the opportunity to meet tangible needs for families right here in Ellis County. If you'd like to get involved, it's easy to sign up and start helping:

🤍 Lives are already being impacted. Through a CarePortal request, we connected with a single mom who needed a table. Thanks to our amazing community, we were able to help with additional needs, celebrate her at a baby shower, and even throw her daughter a birthday party. We love building relationships that point people to Jesus.

🤍 Our Wyatt Street space is almost ready! We'll be hosting an open house along with a summer fan and water giveaway. Stay tuned—we'll share the date soon!

Hey Walk In Love family!! We have a need from a veteran that needs his grass mowed occasionally. He does not have a lawn mower and is unable to do it himself. Please message us if this is something you’d like to help with! It can be a one time thing or a great reoccurring project!

Good afternoon Walk In Love family! Thanks to your continued support we were able to meet a small need for a young mom yesterday! After visiting with her there are still some needs that we could help with in order to help her growing family during a hard transition. The most pressing needs are: baby items (she’s having a boy in May), a small couch, gift cards for groceries, beds (Queen and Twin size), bedding, or If you would like to donate specifically to this cause you can Venmo us at https://www.venmo.com/u/walkinlovewaxahachie and type “April need” in the description!
