Had a leather tag on that is now removed and ready for a new name or can be left blank, winners choice! Helmet is still in great condition, no cracks, burns or holes! Another good table talk piece… Victim-first mentality.

Many would consider this home a total loss upon arrival. Despite the intense fire conditions, your IAFF Local 4131 firefighters launched an aggressive attack while simultaneously conducting a search.

During that search, a firefighter located a victim inside the structure. While the victim tragically did not survive, rest assured that firefighters and EMS personnel gave every possible chance—pushing through extreme heat, heavy smoke, and dangerous conditions to try and bring them out alive.

This incident is a sobering reminder of the dedication and courage our members display every day, putting themselves in harm’s way in the hope of saving others.
