ll Club Vision and Goals

To inspire our student-athletes to dream, to trust, to build confidence (within each other) and to value the resiliency team sports demand.

•To be innovative and consistent in how we coach/train our athletes.

•To train “The Whole Athlete” on and off the court.

•To train the student-athlete so that they can achieve higher success for their high-school team.

•To establish a greater sense of community amongst Elite Alliance Volleyball Club athletes, coaches and parents.

•To create attainable goals for our teams and individual athletes, both on and off the court. Goal creation will be owned by athletes, and coaches.

•To offer an enthusiastic and professional approach to teaching/coaching. On and off the court, our coaches will carry themselves in a manner that reflects that outlook.

•To train the “Thoughtlessness of Effort.” Effort is every day, it’s in practice, in the classroom, in building relationships ...it will be engrained in our athletes.

•To provide collegiate recruitment opportunities that will allow players to continue successful academic and playing careers at colleges or universities.

•Elite Alliance Volleyball club strives to offer the most affordable cost while at the same time providing the highest quality instruction in the area.

Neon theme night at practice was a VIBE!

Our players and coaches brought the brightest colors and even bigger energy to the court. Nothing like a fun theme to keep things fresh and exciting! So proud of this hardworking group.

🇺🇸 RED, WHITE & BLUE PRACTICE 🇺🇸

Tonight’s theme: USA.

As our National Teams continue preparing for Orlando, we took a moment to celebrate the colors we’ll proudly wear as we compete against teams from across the country.

The red, white, and blue mean more than just a dress-up theme.

🔴 Red represents the passion and effort these athletes bring every day.
⚪ White represents the character, sportsmanship, and integrity they display on and off the court.
🔵 Blue represents the trust, loyalty, and teamwork that make great teams successful.

Nationals is about more than volleyball. It’s about representing your family, your community, your teammates, and everything you’ve worked for throughout the season.

The journey to Nationals should be challenging, rewarding, and fun—and our athletes continue to embrace all three.

Work hard. Compete hard. Have fun.

🇺🇸 Orlando is getting closer.

It’s Memorial Day!

We had a strong volleyball practice tonight, pouring in the dedication and hard work needed to get ready for Nationals. These girls are grinding and improving every session.

And of course… we finished it off the right way with ice cream. Nothing beats celebrating a great practice with a sweet treat!

Grateful for these girls and the freedom that we get to chase our dreams because of those who came before us.

Regular season complete. Now the focus shifts to Nationals.

The 16-1's closes out the regular season with an outstanding 28-5 record, capturing 4 Gold Bracket Championships while competing at the highest level across our three-state region.

This group has competed with toughness, discipline, and consistency all season long, and we couldn’t be more proud of the work they’ve put in together.

Next stop: Nationals.

The team will compete in the Premier Division, taking on some of the top competition in the country as they continue representing Elite Alliance Volleyball Club on the national stage.

Let’s keep building.

Another incredible season for Elite Alliance Volleyball Club!

As a club, our teams finished with a combined overall record of 233-91 — a .719 winning percentage.

Along the way this past high school season:
🏐 38 athletes earned All-Conference honors
🏐 3 athletes were named All-State
🏐 3 athletes were selected to compete in their respective All-Star Games
🏐 4 athletes broke at least one of their high school’s volleyball records

The numbers speak for themselves but what makes us most proud isn’t just the wins or accolades, it’s the work ethic, leadership, commitment, and culture these athletes continue to build year after year.

Thank you to our players, coaches, and families for continuing to raise the standard.

Congratulations Ella. A longtime member of EAVC!

Congratulations Ella. A longtime member of EAVC!

Ella Kerkvliet, Deuel Class of 2026, was honored for being in the Top 1 Percent of the class.

The Class of 2026’s top 1 percent of graduating seniors were recognized recently at the 36th Annual Academic Excellence Recognition luncheon for their academic achievements throughout their high school career.

Governor Larry Rhoden’s office and the Associated School Boards of South Dakota (ASBSD) honored students identified as the top one percent of their senior class, from the state’s Public, Private and Tribal/BIE schools on Monday (4/27).

Students designated as their high school’s honoree(s) received a certificate, a commemorative South Dakota pin and the opportunity to meet and have their photo taken with Lieutenant Governor Tony Venhuizen.

“All of you are being honored today because of the impressive things you have done,” Lt. Gov. Venhuizen said. “Being in the top 1 percent of your class is truly remarkable. It shows a willingness to work hard. I feel very optimistic about our future.”

A sentiment echoed by ASBSD President Shane Roth of De Smet.

“The hard work and dedication these students have put towards their education has been an investment, an investment in their future,” Roth said. “As the best and brightest in South Dakota, we hope to see you become the next generation of leaders in South Dakota.”

“We need talented and skilled people like yourselves to share your creative ideas and solutions to continue to push our great state forward.”

The event was sponsored by A&B Business Solutions, BankWest, DSU — Governor’s Cyber Academy, KSB Law, School Administrators of South Dakota, the South Dakota Board of Regents, and South Dakota Education Association. Musical entertainment was provided by the De Smet High School Choir under the direction of Brooke Thielbar.
