Elite Alliance Volleyball Club Elite Alliance Volleyball Club is a premier, non-profit club based out of Watertown, SD.

ll Club Vision and Goals

To inspire our student-athletes to dream, to trust, to build confidence (within each other) and to value the resiliency team sports demand.

•To be innovative and consistent in how we coach/train our athletes.

•To train “The Whole Athlete” on and off the court.

•To train the student-athlete so that they can achieve higher success for their high-school team.

•To establish a greater sense of community amongst Elite Alliance Volleyball Club athletes, coaches and parents.

•To create attainable goals for our teams and individual athletes, both on and off the court. Goal creation will be owned by athletes, and coaches.

•To offer an enthusiastic and professional approach to teaching/coaching. On and off the court, our coaches will carry themselves in a manner that reflects that outlook.

•To train the “Thoughtlessness of Effort.” Effort is every day, it’s in practice, in the classroom, in building relationships ...it will be engrained in our athletes.

•To provide collegiate recruitment opportunities that will allow players to continue successful academic and playing careers at colleges or universities.

•Elite Alliance Volleyball club strives to offer the most affordable cost while at the same time providing the highest quality instruction in the area.

🏐 What a start to the volleyball season!

We’re only a week and a half in, and Elite Alliance coaches have already had the opportunity to watch nearly 45 of our athletes compete in person for their school teams.

We’ve been in the gyms watching Watertown, Brookings, Marshall, Ortonville, Great Plains Lutheran, Hamlin, and Waverly-South Shore—and we have many more athletes and teams still to see!

There’s something special about watching these young women take what they’ve worked on and compete for their schools, teammates, and communities. Different jerseys. Different teams. Sometimes even club teammates standing on opposite sides of the net. But the relationships and support remain.

It’s been fun. Inspiring. Exciting. And more than anything, we are incredibly proud.

We love volleyball, but Elite Alliance has always been about more than volleyball. 💜🏐

Different jerseys. Same volleyball family.

Just a few months ago, these two were club teammates, training together, competing together, and cheering for each other. Tonight, they found themselves on opposite sides of the net representing their schools.

This picture is one of our favorite parts of club volleyball. The wins and losses matter, but the friendships, relationships, and memories these athletes and their families build along the way last much longer.

Tonight they were opponents. They’ll always be teammates. Thanks for the memories Mia and Kali, we are proud of you.

Congratulations to Jaina Johnson on reaching 1,000 career digs! 🏐

A standout outside hitter for Waverly-South Shore and a longtime Elite Alliance Volleyball athlete, Jaina has been part of our club since the 12U division. Her achievement is the result of years of hard work, determination, and commitment to improving every part of her game.

A Journey Worth Celebrating 🏐💜

At Elite Alliance Volleyball Club, we often talk about growth, commitment, and investing in young people. This week, one of our own put those values into words in a powerful way.

Congratulations to Jillaine Pfeifle Smith on the publication of her story, “Four Years to Nationals: A Club Coach’s Journey with Elite Alliance Volleyball Club.”

Jillaine serves our club in so many ways—as our Head 16U, 17U, and 18U Elite Skills Academy Coach, Assistant Coach for our 14U National Team, and a valued member of our Board of Directors. More importantly, she is a mentor who pours her heart into every athlete she coaches.

Her story isn’t just about volleyball or making it to nationals. It’s about the relationships built in the gym, the lessons learned through hard work, and the incredible young women who inspire us every day. It captures what Elite Alliance is truly about: developing confident athletes, strong teammates, and even stronger people.

Jillaine, thank you for your passion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to our athletes and families. We are grateful to have you as part of the Elite Alliance family, and we’re proud to see your journey shared with others.

More Than Volleyball. ❤️🏐

This is one of our favorite kinds of pictures.

Mia and Jayci once stood on the same side of the net as Elite Alliance Volleyball teammates, pushing each other in practice, celebrating victories, and building a friendship through the game they love.

Tonight, they stood across from each other, representing Hamlin and Brookings.

The final score will be remembered for a while. The friendship, the memories, and the impact they had on each other’s journey will last much longer.

At Elite Alliance, we believe volleyball is about more than developing great players. It’s about building character, creating lifelong friendships, and preparing young people for success long after the final whistle.

We couldn’t be prouder of both Mia and Jayci. Thank you for representing your schools, your families, and the Elite Alliance family with class.

We love watching Elite Alliance Volleyball alumni continue to compete at the next level.

Tonight we had the opportunity to watch four EAVC alumni take the court:

🏐 Kaedyn Sapp & Kamryn Streich – Dakota State University

🏐 Madisyn Grimsrud & Presley Knecht – Dakota Wesleyan University

Former EAVC teammates Kaedyn Sapp #12 and Madisyn Grimsrud #19 delivered outstanding performances, each finishing with 18 kills to lead their teams. Kaedyn did it from the outside hitter (OH) position, while Madisyn was from the middle hitter (MH) position.

We also spotted two other Alumni in the crowd: Brooke Nelson (2020) who played for DSU and Mariah (Gloe) Lacher (2019) who played for DWU.

🏐 2026 EAVC Alumni Award – Abby Kjenstad 🏐

Elite Alliance Volleyball Club is proud to recognize Abby Kjenstad as one of our 2026 EAVC Alumni Award recipients!

Abby’s volleyball journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and character. After suffering an ACL injury during her high school basketball career, many athletes would have been satisfied just returning to the court. Abby wasn’t. She put in the countless hours of hard work, rehab, and dedication necessary to come back stronger than ever.

On the court, Abby is the definition of an outside power hitter: explosive, aggressive, and armed with a quick arm that made her a constant offensive threat. But as impressive as her volleyball abilities were, what truly set Abby apart was who she was as a teammate.

Abby consistently demonstrated positivity, humility, and a team-first attitude. She encouraged those around her, led by example, and represented everything Elite Alliance Volleyball Club strives to develop in our athletes. Her character has always matched her talent.

Today, Abby continues her volleyball career at the collegiate level with the University of Jamestown. Abby played high school volleyball for Great Plains Lutheran and coach Jacklyn Karli.

Congratulations, Abby! Thank you for representing Elite Alliance Volleyball Club with excellence both on and off the court. You will always be a valued part of the EAVC family.

Congratulations to Lauryn Peterreins! 🏐

We're excited to see Lauryn Peterreins featured by PrepDig in their article, "Class of 2030: Making Their Presence Known."

Lauryn has been a standout outside hitter for our Elite Alliance 14-1 National Team, and this recognition reflects the impact she's already making at such a young age. Standing 6'0", Lauryn combines size, athleticism, and volleyball IQ with an aggressive, all-around offensive game.

As PrepDig highlighted, Lauryn attacks confidently, sees the block well, and has the ability to vary her shots to keep defenses guessing.

We're proud of the work Lauryn has put in and even more excited about what lies ahead. The future is incredibly bright, and this is just another step in what promises to be a special volleyball journey.
