Let us tell you about our 2025 Excellence in Service Award Winner!!!!

Wyatt Jorgenson shines as an exceptional member of our nursing support staff. Despite the challenges of being short staffed for an extended period, he has consistently stepped up-running back to back appointments with unwavering commitment. He is known for his positive attitude, endless patience, and genuine kindness. When addressing health concerns, he thinks out of the box to suggest ideas and ensure people receive the most compassionate care possible. We are incredibly grateful for the heart and positivity he brings to our organization every day.

Hi everyone! We’re excited to announce that our advocacy group is officially getting back into action! After a bit of a pause, we’re ready to reconnect, reorganize, and refocus our efforts and we’d love for you to be a part of it. Whether you’ve been involved in the past or you’re just learning about us, now is a great time to jump in.

People first is an organization that empowers individuals with intellectual disabilities (IDD) to advocate for themselves. Specifically, it helps people understand their rights and responsibilities, solve their own problems, and speak up for themselves in order to be more independent.
