Meet Chase!

This sweet husky mix is 5 months old and had a rough start to life, so he’s still figuring things out.
He can be a little independent and strong-willed, but at his core he just wants to be loved.
Chase loves children, cats and other dogs.
He’s playful, curious, and loves being part of whatever is going on.
He seeks out attention and enjoys affection, but he’s still learning to fully trust it. At times he can get unsure and pull back, like he’s not quite convinced it will last.
He’s a smart and active boy who will do best with structure, patience, and a home that keeps him engaged. Ideally, one with another confident, well balanced dog who can help guide him and reinforce boundaries.
He is kennel trained. He knows sit and is working on lay down. He walks nice on a leash.
He is food and toy motivated.

Hello friends! We are in full blown kitten season and are bursting at the seams with kittens, pregnant cats and adults needing placement!

If you have a spare bedroom or even a bathroom that would be enough!

We want to help as many as we can but it’s just not possible without our amazing fosters.

All of these guys need placement and we have so many more waiting to coming into rescue.

Meet Mocha!

Mocha is a 1 year old husky mix.
Mocha loves her food so she needs a slow feeder or she’ll eat too fast.
She is working hard on taking treats gently and not chomping your hand.
She does know how to sit and lay down.
She will follow you around and is very loving.
She wants all the pets and head scratches.
She gets along with other dogs and loves playing with the other dogs and playing with dog toys.
She likes cats but can be a little too much for them because she gets very excited to see them and wants to follow them everywhere.
She does not like kennels, so if she needs to be kenneled it has to be a chew proof one. She will eventually settle down in one after trying to see if she can get out. She is not destructive if left out in the house but will get into food if it’s easily available. Although the longer she has been here the less she does this. She sleeps fine all night in a dog bed on the floor.
She is housebroken and will let you know when she has to go out.
She does well in a fenced yard.

Meet Francesca!

Francesca is a very sweet 5 month old lab mix.
This is what her foster says about her!
“She is one of the most loving Velcro pups I have ever met. She chooses her person and loves hard!
She is still learning to play with my older dogs and the toys in the house, but absolutely will keep herself entertained. She took to potty training VERY well but still needs a schedule as she isn’t very vocal about when she needs to go out. She is kennel trained for eating and sleeping and if she needs to be left home. She is vocal for the first few minutes but settles down soon after!”

Meet our very, special boy, Nanuq! This little ball of fluff and energy came to us after being attacked by a dog. His eye was bloody and looked as if it needed removed and his ear looked bad also. After a few days with his foster, the oozing from his eye stopped. When the foster was checking out his eye, she noticed his forehead and skull were a little spongy above that eye. You guessed - skull fracture. He was scheduled for an enucleation of that eye, but the vet wanted to make sure there were no neurological deficits. So far he had been behaving normally, so the prognosis was good. A week later he went to the vet for to be reevaluated. Another surprise - he gets to keep his eye!

This boy loves loves loves to play, and when he’s done playing he wants nothing more than to curl up in your lap ❤️

He’s 10-12 weeks old, and a little ball of fire. He has the sweetest disposition. We’re guessing a husky mix of some sort, but your guess is as good as ours! 😂

Nanuq will be altered at our partner clinic in August, we want to give his little brain bucket some time to heal!

He loves other dogs and cats and is learning manners and good potty habits. His ideal family will have another dog that will wrestle with him and show him the ropes, and kids for him to play and grow up with.

Meet Bart!

This cute boy is a 5 month old husky/shepherd mix with the personality to match! He has the best of both breeds, alert and friendly. He is very playful with beautiful coloring and eyes, ears are a mix of floppy and straight.
He loves to play just as much as he loves to snuggle. He is a loyal pup, loves his toys, and food motivated.
He is kennel and potty trained, also learning basic commands like sit, stay, lay down, and come.
He is playful, affectionate, friendly and very sweet. He is ready for his forever family to love him as much as he’ll love them!
