🌠 The Universal OST Amendment Act signifies a commitment to our youth in Washington - ensuring equal access to stimulating environments, nurturing mentors, and pathways to achievement. Prioritizing out-of-school-time programs for all our young citizens is essential.

⏳ Time is of the essence. The District must focus on providing out-of-school-time programs to every youth. By collaborating with community organizations, we can guarantee ongoing support for these critical initiatives.

🏫🌟 Our local community organizations are pillars of hope for our young people. Government support in funding and backing their crucial efforts in mentorship, enrichment, and skill-building is vital.

🌈🚀 Beyond just activities, out-of-school-time programs offer young people a chance to pursue interests, build skills, and plan their futures. Empowering them paves the way for success for all.

✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿 Prioritizing the needs of our Black and brown youth, who have historically faced greater challenges, is imperative. It's time to dismantle barriers and open up transformative experiences for every young Washingtonian.

📉 Currently, 53,000 students lack access to afterschool programs, and 57,000 are left without options in the summer. We must prevent them from slipping through the cracks. Join us in closing this gap and creating opportunities for all.

🏠 More afterschool programs equate to safer spaces during crucial times, reducing potential crime. Investing in youth activities is investing in the safety of our community. Let's focus on our youth for a safer tomorrow.
