Friends of Mongolia

Friends of Mongolia We strive to strengthen relations between American and Mongolian communities.

Friends of Mongolia (FOM) is organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and developmental purposes, not-for-profit. Friends of Mongolia exists to develop partnerships with the people of Mongolia in furtherance of cultural exchange and human development. FOM is an incorporated non-profit organization 501 (c) 3 conducting activities in both Mongolia and the United States. It is

affiliated with the National Peace Corps Association, but membership is open to anyone with an interest in Mongolia. Friends of Mongolia operations are lead by two Co-directors:
Christina Davakhu, Co-Director, Mongolia
Nick Millward, Co-Director, USA

A board of directors are elected for three year terms and managed by codirectors.

Peace Corps Connect 2026 was an incredible opportunity to reconnect, learn, and advocate alongside the Returned Peace Corps Volunteer community.

We are especially proud that the Friends of Mongolia / Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Mongolia were represented at this year's conference and Hill Day by M17 Ken Syring, M18 Yoomie Huynh, M30 Daniel Lindbergh Lang, M31 Darcy Maier, and M32 Richard Whiting.

Thank you to everyone who represented the Mongolia community and all those who helped make Peace Corps Connect 2026 such a meaningful event. 🌎💙

Our Friends of Mongolia community came together for another successful virtual mixer. We were thrilled to see such strong participation, with RPCVs and community partners joining from three continents.

Special thanks to Mr. Ari Wyckoff, the past Chair of the Board, for sharing your experience with the new community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the event so engaging and meaningful. Stay tuned for another virtual mixer this September as we celebrate Peace Corps Act Day with another virtual mixer.
