Okay, so the GEO Group gave $250,000 to a Rep. Jim Jordan-aligned super PAC last year.

Jordan chairs a key congressional committee overseeing ICE.

The donation came shortly after the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, legislation that nearly triples ICE’s budget and funds the doubling of immigrant detention space.

This bigger budget for ICE is likely to increase GEO Group's bottom line.

How did we find out about this donation, which would normally be cloaked in secrecy? A paperwork error.
