Across Latin America and the Caribbean, PADF works alongside municipalities to develop practical, long-term responses that meet people where they are and leave stronger systems behind.
Because lasting solutions start locally. 🌎🤝

As the implementing partner of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), PADF conducted the training “Financial Investigations and Prosecution of Civil Asset Forfeiture Cases” on September 17-18 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The training brought together judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement to strengthen their knowledge of financial investigations, asset tracing, and the judicial handling of asset forfeiture cases. Through practical discussions and case-based learning, participants enhanced their capacity to identify, investigate, and recover assets linked to organized crime and corruption.
This activity was conducted under PADF’s Organized Crime and Corruption Program and contributes to ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional capacity and improve the effectiveness of asset forfeiture proceedings in the Dominican Republic.
