The Women’s Foreign Policy Group was pleased to co-host “AI as a Catalyst for Economic Growth” last night in partnership with the Embassy of India. Hosted by Ambassador Namgya Khampa, Deputy Chief of Mission, this private event brought together voices from government, industry, and the policy community for a timely discussion on artificial intelligence, technology policy, and regulation.

The conversation explored the implications of emerging technologies for innovation, economic competitiveness, national security, and global leadership. The evening concluded with a networking reception and an opportunity to continue the discussion.

"The Women’s Foreign Policy Group was honored to host an event at the National Press Club Cosgrove Lounge in partnership with K. Riva Levinson, author, political strategist, and CEO of KRL International.

The evening featured a conversation on Choosing the Hero, highlighting Levinson’s own behind-the-scenes efforts to elect Liberia’s first female president, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. Levinson shared insights, lessons, and personal anecdotes from her time in Liberia, offering a firsthand perspective on the challenges and opportunities of advancing women’s leadership in politics. She also previewed her upcoming book, Misadventures on K Street, to be released in February 2027.
