Congratulations to:

Bernard DiLullo, who has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer on a permanent basis following eight months as Interim CEO.

Heidi Driscoll, promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

Daniel Fitzgerald, who joins C3 Wellbeing as Director of Community Prevention.

As we continue bringing together our employee assistance, student assistance, and community prevention services under one unified organization, we’re excited for what’s ahead.

It’s been an exciting day at Rhode Island PREVCON! This year’s theme was Community Roots; Resilient Futures: A conference on connection and prevention. C3 Wellbeing was well represented, the day was kicked off by MCs Dan Fitzgerald and Heidi Driscoll, Lily O’Toole received the Rising Star of Prevention Award, and presentations were given by Natalie Kimmerlein, Lily O’Toole, Nicolette Perrault, and Harini Senthil! We had a combination of our Employee Assistance, Student Assistance, and Community Prevention teams in attendance today.

RIDOH is issuing an overdose spike alert for residents of East Greenwich, Exeter, Hopkinton, Richmond, and West Greenwich. According to RIDOH emergency department (ED) data, higher-than-normal non-fatal drug overdose activity happened among East Greenwich and Exeter residents between August 26, 2026, and September 1, 2026. When RIDOH data show an increase in overdoses, RIDOH sends out an overdose spike alert. These alerts help communities know what is happening and connect people to local overdose prevention, treatment, and recovery resources.

Increases in overdoses can happen because the drug supply is always changing. Fentanyl and other very strong substances are in all types of drugs, including he**in, co***ne, and counterfeit pills.
