🌿 One last trip to the Farm Stand!

This Thursday marks our final Westbay Farm Stand of the season, and before we close up shop, we want to say thank you.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by this summer and fall, filled a basket, told a friend, came back week after week, or simply helped us spread the word. We loved sharing what was growing at Westbay Farm with you!

📣East Greenwich: we’re looking for you!

Westbay Community Action is seeking a low-income representative from the East Greenwich community to serve on our Board of Directors. Nominees do not have to be low-income themselves, but must live in East Greenwich or work with low-income residents there.

A public election will be held November 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Westbay Community Action, 487 Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick.

⛳ NEW DATE — AND A FEW SPOTS JUST OPENED!

Our 4th Annual Golf Tournament was supposed to hit the course today, but Mother Nature had other plans! We’re officially rescheduled for Monday, October 26th, at Crestwood Country Club in Rehoboth, MA.

A few of our golfers can’t make the new date, which means we now have some openings!

$175 per golfer | $700 per foursome
Includes golf & cart, lunch, dinner, and a gift bag.
Registration at 10:30 AM | Lunch at 11 AM | Tee time at Noon | Dinner to follow

Did you lose food purchased with SNAP benefits due to a power outage during the weekend's nor'easter?

If a storm-related power outage caused your food to be lost, you may be eligible to request replacement SNAP benefits through RI DHS.

You must submit requests within 10 days of the food loss using the SNAP-55 form.

☔ Golf Tournament Cancelled 9/28/26

Unfortunately, due to the significant rainfall from the nor’easter, tomorrow’s Annual Westbay Golf Tournament has been cancelled.

We’re disappointed we wont be sharing time on the course with our sponsors and supporters tomorrow.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Westbay Community Action. An email has been sent out to all participants with additional information regarding the cancellation.
