Sorry for the confusion! The PTO is still on summer mode. Open house will be WEDNESDAY 9/16 and both the PTO meeting and 5th grade committee meeting will be on THURSDAY 9/10.

Welcome back Raptors!! We hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable summer break. Be on the lookout, this week, for information regarding the PTO and how you can become a member!! We've got lots of fun planned this year and your support makes it all possible. Looking forward to a productive and fun school year for all!!

We had ourselves a day, today!!! Started with an amazing animal assembly by our friend Dave Marchetti, from Dave's Animal Experiences and then wrapped it up with our Raptor Run!! In a fun twist, the students voted to chalk the teachers, this year and it was a BLAST. We finished up with a dance party, hosted by our favorite DJ, Joe from Sensational Sounds. We raised over $10,000 for our school, handed out some amazing prizes and our top winners got the chance to chalk Mr. Dillon! Thank you once again to all of our students, their families and all of the sponsors who donated. You are the reason we are able to host these fun events!

Update for tomorrow's Raptor Run! We had some last minute donations come in, which has brought us over our goal of $10,000!! Way to go Raptors! As for the actual run... If your child received a prize bag, please be sure they wear their T-shirt tomorrow. They may also wear their bandana and sunglasses and if they earned powder packets, send those as well.

It is STILL not too late to help raise money for our school. Any child who comes in with at least $25, will receive a t shirt and the tiered prizes up to where they have earned. Although it looks a little different this year, we're still looking forward to a fun afternoon for all!

Raptor Run update!! Fingers crossed, we're planning the run for Wednesday, during school hours. We are $95 away from our goal of $10,000! While online donations are closed, we are still accepting cash and checks. Checks may be made payable to Robertson PTO. Thank you all for your understanding and flexibility regarding the weather and once again, we truly appreciate all of your generosity.

As I'm sure we're all aware, the weather for tomorrow does not look promising. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to postpone the run. It will still be happening, most likely during the school day, next week. (Actual date TBD.) The students will still receive all earned prizes, and we may even throw in a little extra surprise to make up for having to cancel.

Once again, we thank you for your overwhelming generosity and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Our current top 3 raptor run standings...

1. Mrs. Sammartino - $1540
2. Mrs. Porcaro - $1045
3. Mr. Gauthier - $980

Prize bags went home, today!!! If your student has raised at least $100, all of this is theirs. It's not too late to continue to raise money and earn prizes. We are just around $2000 shy of our goal, with our Raptor Run taking place this Saturday at 11am. We can still do it!!!!

11 Days left before our Raptor Run and we've raised $5735!! We're more than halfway to our goal!! Currently, Mrs. Porcaro's second grade class is in the lead, with Mrs. Sammartino's third grade right behind. The class who earns the most will win a party of their choice, and the highest overall earner will get to chalk Mr. Dillon!!!!! Thank you to all who have participated so far and remember, it's never too late to get out there and earn!

5th Grade parents!!!! Reminder... tonight is the meeting at Winman for incoming 6th graders. This is a great opportunity for you to get acquainted with the school and help ease any worries about students entering in the fall. Please be advised that this is an adult's only evening.

Last Friday, May 8th, we raffled off our first incentive prizes! 2 Papa's Ice Cream LLC. gift certificates. Happy to say our first winners were Freya M and Emily C! Congratulations to both and thank you for supporting our school. Our Raptor Run fundraiser is ongoing, so keep earning!!! This Friday we will be raffling off a Target gift card to those who have earned at least $25!
