Blizzard of '26

Pack 7 Cub Scouts were out helping their neighbors shovel, shoveling out fire hydrants, and clearing drain holes. Doing their Good Turn Daily! To say Pack 7 Leadership is proud of these scouts, is an understatement.

"On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the scout law. To help other people at all times; keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight."

A fresh new patch for our Narragansett Council Scouts is on the way, and we need Scout Power™ to earn it! 💥
The sun is shining, the blizzard has finally calmed down, and now it’s our turn—time to get outside and lend a hand to someone who could use a little help. That means elderly neighbors or any neighbor who needs some extra assistance while they stare at their snowbank wondering where their front steps went.
And if you happen to spot a fire hydrant buried like it’s trying to hibernate… wake it up and dig it out (3 feet around)! 🚒
Snap some action photos, tag us, and parents/leaders can submit Scout names soon for the Operation Blizzard 2026 patch.
Let’s brighten our community together—one heroic shovelful at a time! ⛄
