Yesterday’s Lemonade on the Lawn was the perfect kickoff to summer 🍋☀️

With sunshine, sweet treats, music, games, and plenty of laughter, our Thrive staff came together for an afternoon full of connection and fun. It was such a great chance to step away from the day-to-day, enjoy some fresh air, and spend time with coworkers across our organization.

We’re so thankful for moments like these that bring our team together and celebrate the incredible people who make Thrive such a special place every day 💛

We are so excited that one of our staff, Ann Gardner, and the rest of the RI Medical Reserve Corps (RI MRC) were honored by Christina Paxson, President of Brown University, for their response to the Brown University shooting tragedy. The RI MRC is a volunteer group of trained behavioral health specialists designed to integrate behavioral health capabilities directly into emergency operations, helping to stabilize individuals, reduce acute stress responses, and support communities in the aftermath of traumatic events.

What an incredible morning at our Hillsgrove Clubhouse Open House! 💙

Thank you to the legislators, board members, Thrive leadership, community partners, families, and supporters who joined us to learn more about the life-changing impact of Hillsgrove Clubhouse.
We are especially grateful to the Clubhouse members who courageously stood at the podium and shared their personal stories about how Hillsgrove has helped them grow, find purpose, and get to where they are today. 👏

Hillsgrove was also proud to honor and present awards to Old Navy for their continued partnership and dedication to creating meaningful opportunities for our members to build confidence and workplace skills.

As Rhode Island’s only psychosocial adult day program of its kind, Hillsgrove Clubhouse continues to foster connection, purpose, independence, and hope for adults living with behavioral health challenges.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a meaningful success! ✨

A huge thank you to Ocean State Job Lot for their generous Earth Day donations and commitment to supporting a healthier planet and community 🌎💚

Earth Day is more than just caring for the environment. Spending time outdoors, protecting green spaces, and creating a cleaner world can reduce stress, improve mood, and help us feel more connected to one another.

We’re grateful for community partners like Ocean State Job Lot who understand that caring for the Earth also means caring for people. Together, small acts can make a big difference. 🌱✨

During the discussion, Patrick and fellow panelists highlighted the value of peer support, the strength of the veteran community, and how to navigate connections to the VA and Veteran Service Officers (VSOs). He also shared insights on transitioning from military to civilian life and emphasized key resources available to support veterans along the way.

We’re proud to see our team contributing to important conversations that uplift and empower those who have served. Other panelists were Rosy Pfrimmer from Horizon Healthcare Partners , Ryan Sullivan from Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, and John Sawyer from Community Care Alliance.
