Wow!!! What a weekend!!! Lots of great food and learning how to cook over a fire. And a few comforts of home, but the coffee pot is a requirement!! Thanks to those that helped makes this weekend possible. Do you want your youth (11-18)to learn a new skill or step out of their comfort zone?? Come see us!!

Thank you Camp Friedlander for a great week at summer camp!! 3 scouts earned 13 merit badges total! 1 scout completed C.O.P.E and 1 attended a trailblazer course (Focusing on rank requirements) . Lots of naps by the adults. Found a few new campsite friends. We had a great week! If you’re looking for something productive for your youth to do let us know! Scouting is one of the best ways I know to meet people and find new things that will impact the youth the rest of their lives!!

What a great weekend to be camping!! Spent Friday with Cub Scout Pack 132, Warsaw KY showing them foil pack cooking and fire building skills, then Saturday was filled with rocket launching and playing in the creek!! The scout troop finished Saturday with an amazing lasagna and a new (to us)twist on s’mores!! Thanks also to Pop’s Landing for an amazing place to have this weekend’s event!!

The Troop had the opportunity to help park cars for the Sullivan pull Saturday as well. I did not get any pictures because it was a very busy evening!! Thank you to troop 239 for helping us and Thanks to Sullivan Pulling for helping support the scouting youth in our community!!

Another great weekend in the books!! Great food!! Fun games!! And great friends!! The scouts earned a few merit badges!! We also retired a few flags it is such an honor to be apart of those ceremonies !! We have lots more planned this year!! Stop by Warsaw Baptist church between 6-7 on Tuesdays to figure out how to be a part of the fun!!
