Ohio Star Quilt Guild of Howland

Ohio Star Quilt Guild of Howland Ohio Star Quilters Guild was established and formed to nurture the highest ideals of excellence in the practice of the art of quilting.

The Guild meets at Howland Scope Center, 8273 High Street, behind the Post Office/Administration Building in Howland. We meet for a business meeting at 9:30 am the first Wednesday of the month, and for a sewing day on the third and sometimes 4th Wednesday. Membership dues of $25 yearly ($15 to Scope and $10 to Ohio Star) are required; however, guests are welcome and encouraged to attend. After attending two sessions, guests will be asked and expected to apply for membership.

Today Ohio Star Quilt Guild was educated and entertained by Allison Smith of the Braceville African American History Museum. She celebrated Harriet Tubman, the Underground Railroad, and her own quilts with us!
